For me, the beginning of sharing my faith with people began by throwing out Christianity and embracing Christian spirituality, a nonpolitical mysterious system that can be experienced but not explained. Christianity, unlike Christian spirituality, was not a term that excited me. I couldn’t share something I wasn’t experiencing. And I wasn’t experiencing Christianity.

Markweeto, I am glad you explained how one can post when they don't have the Beta update...now, if only I could figure out your deep thoughts, I might be able to comment :o)
C'mon Patty... you can figure out Donald Miller...
I could figure out Donald Duck...but, anything beyond that...
It's a good book. You should pick it up.
there's a chapter where he tells a true story, when he and some fellow college students set up a booth during a college fair. The booth is a confessional, like in the Catholic churches. Only the ones doing the confessing were the Christians, asking the listener to forgive them for The Crusades, the inquisition, Benny Hinn and a list of other bad things done in the name of Christianity (I made the Benny Hinn thing up, but I do apologize for him).
